Eun Ji Won vs. Sanggeun (the dog) in 2 Days and 1 Night

Posted on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Tee-Vee Time

As always, the very hilarious sitcom on KBS World, “2 days and 1 Night”

This portion of their episode is when they visited a coastal region in South Korea. But the very funny part was when Eun Ji Won and Sanggeun (the dog) had a wrestling against each other (see on 03:12 and 07:44).

It was very funny and enjoyable! Enjoy!

I also love their game “Non-sense Game” or what they call, the “Kung kung ta”. The main goal of the game is to compose 3 words without meaning at all (nonsense words). If the first person ends with, for example, “Shong” like the word “Rak Ddi Shong”, the next person would start with “Shong”, like “Shong Shing Shang” (which is a non-sense word) and so on. Eun Ji Won explains the concept of the game on 01:22. The ones who gave out 3 words with meaning, is out of the game. (See how Kim C formulated his words)…

2 days and 1 night… a hilarious variety show

Posted on Monday, November 17, 2008 in Tee-Vee Time

If I have extra time to sit down at home, eat and turn the TV on, I always watch this Korean variety show on KBS World (Channel 55 on SkyCable Cebu)… 2 days and 1 night.

It’s about a group of friends who travels around Korea (provinces) and stay there for 2 days and 1 night. They do chores and eat food commonly served on their destination. They also play games and of course, sleep!

I am not particular on what episode I liked the most because every time I switch to channel 55, the show already started. But, still, I enjoyed watching it.

They’re so funny and friendly… and also, they have that big white dog [the dog's name is Sang-geun] with them. Here is a sample episode which I got from Youtube. I guess it’s their 19th episode [or 19th tour]… Well, just watch… Very funny! I hope you enjoy watching it as I did!

It’s like so… WOW!

After I stayed in the office from 12nn - 7pm (and keep it in my it’s my day off today — just went there to see hows my cousin erion is doing), I went to Ayala Center to buy stuffs at Watson’s.

Well, yeah, I bought shampoo, soap, deodorant, cologne, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I did lose track that today is the last day of the mall-wide sale… Soooooo manyyyyy peeeeople! Shish!

From Watson’s to National Bookstore (changed my mind in buying a new Lock-knock ballpen), Oxygen and Bench… Whew! Too crowded, it would cause you mental shock! But, I ate a cheese burger, siomai roll and an Orea Chocolate Banana Split! Yum! I forgot to take some pictures of the food I ate since I was in a hurry to finish them all because there were lots of people coming in and out from and to Ice Castle. But hey, the snacks were worth a munch! <spoko>

I went to a new place near Bo’s Office [What?! I just said, "Bo's Office!" OMG, where is that?! It's Bo's Coffee... What's happening to me?!]. It was so awesome! It was an outdoor mall and it was my first time going there. The forest-themed outdoors were brilliant and the gushing of the man-made water falls were great! And I saw a friend there, Jomar who was with another people and he was in a hurry. He felt uneasy and he said he’s tired. Had a short chitchat and he waved goodbye. Came back in to the store and bought cologne spray at Bench.

I liked a new cologne, “Pure Passion” but I haven’t bought it since it was so awkward using it. Piolo Pascual’s name is on it! And there’s this cologne as well, with Richard Gomez’s name!!! Neeeh! I bought Bench B20 (the cologne I used to be having when I was still in highschool — ahhh bring back the highschool days) and this Pure Play. It will be my first time using it. Just for a try!

I went outside, waited for my turn to have a cabby. Fell in line for a couple of minutes and yeah, I am now here at home typing this post.

Tomorrow would be another day. Another busy day for new hire training.

Anyway, if you have noticed, I kept on mentioning about my cousin, erion. Maybe, or sooner I will be writing something about him, here…

God Bless y’all!

P.S.

I was really planning to buy kimchi and kimbap at Ayala but because of too many people, I considered it quits. Better luck next weekend.

Please, please!!! Pretty please…

Posted on Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Happy Thoughts

It has been 3 days now since I applied for credit card at BDO. I really wish to have the application approved so that I can buy myself a laptop for Christmas (please, just this once.)

Well, anyway… this is my first day of conducting a new hire training from a 4 month hiatus. The previous one was like June this year. However, I always do review because I conducted team retraining simultaneously with tenured agents and I do self study if I have extra time at work so there’s no problem with what to give out on training. I don’t think if t’is fortunate for me, but I only got 6 new hire trainees. The technical training room is so quiet because they are so very attentive to the discussion. I just went silent though when someone would raise a hand to ask question right then and there. I suddenly notice the hand waving… they’re just 6 of them! I am used to have 10 trainees.

::shocked:: (Oh, my goodness greatness! I have an MS Office Picture Manager on my PC?! I’ve been dying to have one!!! Shoot! Thank God!)

::back to normal state:: So, I want to feature some photos here on my post. Actually, I feel it’s not appropriate now to post a photo that has a Halloween theme, but well, just see…

As you can observe something on the photo, it says, “Hallowen Treat!” It’s like ::tah!:: HALLOWEN! When I saw this sign board from one of the restaurants in The Walk, IT Park, I was so freaking shocked and quickly took an angular shot out of it! Hahaha! Happy Hallowen!

Next, yah, I upgraded my blog software to version 2.6.3. I believe it is the latest one because I just got this upgraded not too long time ago. It’s cleaner, smooth and very organized, compared to what I have had before. Thanks to Kang for telling there is this auto-upgrade plugin for wordpress blog for newest version if they have one. This ROCKS!

I am so busy at work right now. I even don’t have time to study and read my newest book. It’s entitled, “Teach Yourself Korean”. It’s a learn-the-language book with an audio CD included. I ordered it online at nationalbookstore.com. I am loving it and I synced all the audio files to my iPod so that I will not think of buying a new compact disc player since the ones we have at the living room is currently busted.

My eldest sister has a laptop, my elder brother has one. My youngest sister has a laptop! I don’t have! Come on!

If ever I can get a laptop of my own, I will be very busy to update my posts here and create website for my other domain name, iamflip.net. Currently, I created my own parking page, but I want to feature on that website all gimmick places and food trip venues here in Cebu City. It has been 2 years now and I am not still familiar with the vicinity. Ask me where is SM City, Ayala Center, Robinson, IT Park, my home, but not NORTH and SOUTH. Where’s that? Where’s Naga? Where’s Lacion (or Consolacion)? I’ve been there before but where the heck is the place?

My cousin, erion, always teases me about it. He’s from Canduman, Mandaue City and he is from Cebu so he knows lots of places here. By the way, he’s having 2-day rest day on a Thursday and Friday. So, I am not used to not seeing him during weekdays. I usually see and talk with him every day when he was like Sat-Sun day off. But he got change schedules, and he now works on weekends. And he got a new haircut! Hahaha! A cool one, I tell you! 5 stars!

Hmmm… I am dying to eat korean food like kimchi! and Bulgogi (Korean BBQ) and KimBap (it’s like a packed lunch with rice and a viand in one). It is a Korean fast food snack served with steamed rice (Bap) and covered with Gim or Kim (a dried seaweed paper). It’s like sushi but the difference is sushi has raw fish fillings. Kimbap has steamed meat, fish and crab meat with carrot sticks and other vegetables in one bite! I LIKE! I hope I can have one soon. I probably would invite my cousin for a stroll in Ayala this Saturday for a Kenny Roger’s lunch or have some Korean dish at the fast food.

I really wish I can get my own laptop this December. I love it BLACK AND SILVER all together!!!

::sigh::

2 RDs + 2 VLs

Posted on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in Happy Thoughts

This is very relaxing.

I have had the weekends’ dayoff (eventhough I went to the office on Saturday to finish something for work and just to see erion how he’s doing), and I was so rejuvinated. But, too much of this slacking staff is just not right for me. However…

I went to the bank on Monday to open up a new savings account. To add up, I went to BIR to have my TIN Card claimed. I also went to National Bookstore in Mango Avenue to have the card laminated. It was a whole way round day… sweating against the hot weather, walking on the busy streets of Cebu.

Now, I am here enjoying the pleasure of doing nothing, sitting and typing on my sister’s laptop (I hope I can have mine soon) and watching Korean TV on Arirang and KBS World.

Wait, I’ll get the remote control first…

Okey, carry on. Well, there is this one acquaintance of mine from college talking about becoming rich. Then, what’s next after getting rich? Die? Prrftttt…

And what’s this? My college professor will be coming here in Cebu for a training. What a good day…

Until here… I am still thinking what to type in next in this blog.
